In this instance that you change your mind about your purchase, TAMAR will happily offer a gift card to the full amount excluding shipping costs. Cash refunds are only applicable on a case-by-case basis where TAMAR is at fault. All sale purchases are final and cannot be returned or exchanged. All return requests (including damaged goods) must occur within 24 hours of receipt. Returns must be returned with tracking by 5 business days.
TAMAR will not accept and returns when:
- A piece is not returned in its original conditions: used or damaged or not returned in appropriate packaging (e.g. tiles - bubble wrapped with fragile stickers)
- If the piece is custom made
- If the item is returned outside of the time frame stated above
In the rare instance that damage to goods occurs due to manufacturing fault, repair/exchange (inc. shipping) will be covered. If damage has occured due to personal wear and tear, mishandling or not caring for the product as per our instructions, replacement or exchange is not permitted. All freight prices are calculated at the checkout based on weight. Standard, express or international post are available. PO Boxes/Parcel Locker is not a suitable for large size deliveries (e.g. framed prints).
TAMAR is not responsible for the following related to shipping:
- Failure to collect your parcel from LPO will result in the item being returned to sender. Resending will be at the cost of the customer.
- Loss or damage of parcels in transit
- Incorrectly entered addresses. Please ensure all personal details are reviewed at the checkout.
- Delivery delays whilst in transit
All orders are dispatched within 1 - 2 business days. Please allow approximately 5 -6 business days for standard delivery and 2 - 3 business days for express.
Please allow approximately 6 to 10 business days for standard international delivery and 4 - 6 business days for express international. We are required by law to disclose the contents and full dollar value of your purchase. Ahoy Trader will not alter invoices under any circumstances.
Exceptions to standard delivery times
Please note that during times of our increase in order quantities, such as holiday periods (e.g. Christmas), manufacturing of our hand made goods and dispatch times may increase to 3 - 4 business days. We thank you for your understanding and patience.
International - Custom Charges
Custom and clearance fees are charged in addition to international shipping costs. All charges are unique to your country. TAMAR is not liable for any additional fees related to customs. If the customer does not oblige with these fee’s, TAMAR does not hold any responsibility and is unable to process a refund.
Please note that items held in your shopping cart are not reserved and may still be able to be purchased by other customers. A sale is not final until you have processed payment and received order confirmation. On rare occasion that double sales occur and Ahoy Trader is unable to fulfil, a full refund will be processed. We apologise in advance if this happens and thank you in advance for your understanding.
Many of the Ahoy Trader products are handmade (e.g. tiles, shell ties and pompoms). All handmade pieces have slight variations and no two are the same. Although this means our items are prone to imperfections, this is something we are proud of an embrace. All product images are a rough indication of what your special piece will look like. All special requests are considered but cannot be guaranteed.
All tiles are made for indoor use. If used outdoor, discolouring may occur. Ahoy Trader does not provide warranties on any of its products.
